Challenge

A midwest U.S. based venture capital company has a number of software companies in their portfolio. Two of these companies had released inaugural editions of their mobile versions on the iOS platform and were in need of a qualified development team capable of working collaboratively to bring their product to Android tablets and phones.

Solution

navitend's programming team worked with both of these software companies to help them understand the differences between iOS and the Android platform and a plan was put together to develop the Android version of their applications. Some aspects of the Android version were direct "ports" of the functionality from the iOS version, yet in other areas the Android app took the functionality even further than the iOS editions. navitend became a virtual member of their development and product team.

Result

Both products were successfully ported to Android and available to users in the Google app marketplace.
