About
Our Project Delivery Process
Everything that isn't a support request is a project: scoped, budgeted, scheduled, communicated, and followed through to done.
Support request or project?
Everything that is not a support request is treated as a project. That means it is scoped and given a budget before work begins, so you know what you're getting, what it costs, and when it will happen.
New equipment, onboarding and offboarding, office moves, network upgrades, Microsoft 365 migrations: big or small, each one follows the same process.
Everyone it touches is in the loop
A project usually has one owner, but it rarely affects just one person. A manager or owner may sign the quote for new equipment, yet the people who use that equipment every day are impacted too.
We communicate actively with both your project owner and the stakeholders the project affects, so no one is surprised on the day the work happens.
Planned before it starts
navitend's Service Manager and your named Account Manager collaborate, internally and with you, to schedule the project in advance. Together we discuss:
- The resources needed
- The timeline
- The stakeholders impacted
- The success criteria
Updates along the way
During the project, we keep stakeholders updated on progress, so you never have to chase us for a status.
Follow-up after it's done
After the project concludes, we follow up to make sure all expectations were met and to address any additional requests.
You don't need to become the project manager for your IT provider. Learn more about our Managed IT Services.
Talk to a person, not a ticket or a bot
Tell us what's going on. We'll listen, ask clarifying questions, and give you informed and experienced guidance to consider.
