The Pocket Testament League

Welcome!

Why a technology company has a page about faith, and an invitation to read the Gospel of John.

navitend has partnered with the Pocket Testament League to share the most popular portion of the most popular book, the Gospel of John from the Holy Scriptures.

navitend is a for-profit company offering services related to Information Technology, software development, security and consulting.

Why would we have a portion of our website dedicated to a faith topic?

Great question. Read on.

We believe that work is ordained by God and it is our privilege to serve in the way that we have been gifted. Some people honor God by baking, carpentry, welding, repairing cars, taking care of the elderly, the young, the sick and the hurting. We all have work to do -- our work is in the area of technology for business.

The Gospel, at a glance.

God has created all things, including you and me.

In His mercy, He has given us free will to decide how we want to live our lives.

No matter our intentions, even our best efforts will fall short of perfection. The Bible calls that "missing the mark", or the less popular description, "sin".

The imperfection leads to a gap between God and you, and God and me.

In the Old Testament, an unblemished lamb was a sacrifice to cover that gap.

God Himself paid for us, once for all, in the death of Jesus, His son.

With Jesus' resurrection, we have hope and victory over eternal death itself.

The Gospel of John says it so much better, that's why we make it available to anyone who would like a copy.

People who accept this gift of salvation from God are called Christ followers, or little-Christs, or just Christians.

Please don't mistake Christ followers for someone seeking your vote or peddling for money to fill their own ambitions.

Seek after God. He will be found by those who truly seek Him.

You will know them by their love.
- John 13:35

A note from Frank

As the owner of the company, my passion is that everyone who comes into contact with navitend would thrive. I want our employees to grow personally, professionally and spiritually. I want our clients to enjoy great value through their relationship with us.

One of my favorite passages from the Bible is from Psalms chapter One, verse Three. I think it provides a nice picture of what we're aiming for:

That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers.
- Psalm 1:3

Thanks for taking a moment out of your busy day to learn a little bit about us and our journey.

God bless you.
Frank
