Challenge

This covered entity provides services to thousands of clients, helping them to manage their health and welfare as they age. Like all HIPAA Covered Entities, they have to follow the mandate to safeguard client information. Many of their staff utilize laptops and Microsoft Surface Pro devices. While these devices enable a very agile work experience, they pose a security risk as they are highly portable and more susceptible to theft and loss.

Solution

navitend's consulting team recommended and executed a cost-effective solution to encrypt all portable computing devices for the client. We were able to encrypt their fleet of devices quickly and add an increased level of security to their data and their business.
