LeadingAge NJ Co-Sponsored - Free panel discussion covering - HIPAA/HITECH Requirements and security best practices. CEU's provided: Licensed Nursing Home Administrators/Certified Assisted Living Administrators [LNHA/CALA] continuing education credits in accordance with N.J.A.C. 8:34-7-3(a).

Certificates will be awarded to participants who attend the program and submit completed evaluations forms. The number of continuing education credits awarded will be based upon the number of program hours attended.

PANEL OBJECTIVES

To highlight the administrative, technical, and physical security safeguard considerations that facilities must incorporate into their HIPAA security compliance plan.
To introduce questions that will help facilities define awareness and readiness of HIPAA compliance.
To help develop a Risk Assessment Strategy that will help facilities determine the value of the various types of data generated and stored.
