We’re Hiring IT Help Desk Technician

navitend, a Managed Services Provider located in north-western New Jersey, is seeking an entry-level network support technician to fill a salaried, full-time position on our team. We provide both onsite and remote support to our clients in the greater NJ/NY/PA Metro Areas. We support our clients’ desktops, servers, network infrastructure, VOIP phones, mobile devices, portable devices, e-mail systems, hosted cloud applications, desktop and server applications.


The successful candidate will:

* Create an immediate positive first impression, both in-person or over the phone

* Demonstrate commitment to following and helping us improve existing processes

* Work well in a collaborative team environment

* Communicate effectively with clients and be willing to do whatever it takes to resolve client issues

* Be articulate, confident and personable

* Be comfortable working under pressure

* Demonstrate empathy when our clients contact us, recognizing that their day is not going as planned

* Desire to grow technical skills


Requirements for position:

* Solid troubleshooting skills

* Above average verbal and written communication skills

* Strong documentation skills throughout troubleshooting process

* An ability to effectively discuss technical matters with non-technical people

* Relevant training/degree (A+, Network+) or Experience in technical fields


* Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00
* On-Call 24/7 rotation every 4-5 weeks
* Business casual
* Background check
* Salaried position, paid time off.
* Need valid driver license and reliable transportation
