Many companies moving from Microsoft Office to Google Docs will need to convert an older PowerPoint presentation into Google Docs. Follow these steps to learn how:
- Sign in to your Google Apps or Gmail account.
-
Choose the '''Documents''' tab from above
-
Choose the upload button located to the right of the '''CREATE''' button, choose '''Files...''' from the list that appears
-
Browse to the directory that contains your PowerPoint Presentation, select it, and choose '''Open'''
-
A dialog box will appear. Make sure that Convert documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and drawings to the corresponding Google Docs format. Leave the other two checkboxes blank. Click Start upload to start the process.
-
A pane on the lower-right corner of the screen will show you the upload/conversion status. When the document is finished converting, it will be listed as Converted.
