Copying Formats in Microsoft Word

This issue of The Point shows how to exactly copy the formatting of a particular portion of text in Microsoft Word and apply that formatting to other text. Follow along with the steps below to learn how:

  1. Open the Microsoft Word document you need to copy the formatting from.
  2. Select the text you wish to copy the formatting of.

  3. Press Ctrl + Shift + C
  4. Select the text you wish to apply the copied formatting to.

  5. Press Ctrl + Shift + V to apply the formatting.
